Starting in Benfleet, this trail takes through Hadley Castle Country Park, up Plumtree hill, visiting the ruins of Hadleigh Castle, which dates back to the 13th century, and past Hadleigh Farm to Leigh-on-Sea.
The trail follows a variety of paths and offers some amazing views of the surrounding green fields and coastline along the way.
